Puma is giving local designers and creative minds across the world, a chance to modify, customize and recreate the Classic Puma T7 Jacket to reflect their personal fashion statement.  The only rule is that the classic T7 sleeve and the Puma logo must stay intact- everything else can change. This ‘Built For One’ concept is travelling across the globe one big city at a time, from Moscow, Dubai, Budapest, Mumbai, Cape Town to Istanbul and more.

I was invited to the after party called ‘Puma Social’ to check out what local designers did, using the Classic Puma Jacket and their imagination.

“Wow”, I thought, what’s the maximum you can do with the classic T7 jacket? Not much. ” I couldn’t have been more wrong!

Some of the modified jackets simply blew me away! I simply couldn’t get over the piece by Dubai’s local designer, Michael Cinco. Mind blowing- Check out some of my favorites displayed at the fun warehouse party hosted a few days ago.

The party itself was creatively designed to let guests make their own cocktails, select their own music and even play some slot games on the side. Amazing concept and a truly creative initiative by Puma. Bravo!

Shay Rouge: Anfasic Dokhoon

Inspired by Emerati Art and French elegance, the perfume is launched exclusively for Galleries Lafayette, Dubai. The new age master perfumer, Tabbach of Anfasic Dokhoon (meaning breathing incense), is an Italian-Syrian national who was brought up in France where she gained experience of perfume making.

I had the opportunity of attending the private launch last night and must say the perfume is a rare blend of Middle East’s rich attar tradition and Western Europe’s sophistication- A one off for my fragrance collection this summer!

Love her, hate her but you just cant ignore her. One might argue that controversy’s favorite child, is past her prime but everything about this pop culture icon is still intriguing: from her fashion line to her new boyfriends to her world tours- The woman is here to stay.

She says, “I have always been obsessed by fragrance and for years wanted to create something personal that was an expression of me, but that other people could relate to as well. Something classical and timeless and yet modern. My oldest memory of my mother is her perfume. I carry it with me everywhere. She always smelled like gardenias and tuberose, an intoxicating mixture [that was] feminine and mysterious. I wanted to re-create this scent, but with something fresh and new about it as well. Something honest and yet daring — hence the name Truth or Dare”.

Man I love this woman! The new Pulse is reflective of her energy and powerful feminine charm. Now who wouldn’t want a bottle of that? Main notes include citrus and floral gourmand, anchored by Beyonce’s favorite flower, the orchid.

5) Love Fury: Nine West
The fragrance opens with Rose Bud FirNat, mimosa absolute, mandarin and red berries pulp. If that doesn’t sound tempting, perhaps the uber chic stiletto shaped bottle top does! Since Mandarin is the top trend in fragrance this summer, it can well be the hottest new addition to our closets this summer!
