If the high-octane backstage action was anything to go by, the Splash Fashion show Spring Summer 2015 was going to be as high-energy and emphatic as ever. Nevermind the unexpected rain, the models, hairdressers and make-up artists were on their toes, readying themselves for the second show of the night.
Elaborate hairstyles, oriental style, Japanese geisha inspired up-dos were seen backstage, as well as long and flowy hair with pretty flower crowns. Make up was minimal, with dewy skin and pastel lips for the runway.
My own outfit of the day was pretty simple- I found these amazing pair of high-waist, black palazzo pants from the new collection at Splash, which I fell in love with. I paired it with a black crop top for a minimal, monochrome look. A pair of white ankle clasp heels and white-and-gld necklace completed the look.
A full post on key looks and themes at the Splash Fashion show is coming up next. Look out for the photos from the fashion show.
