FIVE bold Fashion Feats to try this season!

1) Do the Dhoti
Nope, they’re not exactly harem pants! This flowy, pleated and layered pair of pants lends an interesting silhouette to your frame. Wear the dhoti with a fitted vest or even a Chinese/ Nehru collar fitted top to make a fashion statement!

The Indian Dhoti

Choose from fabrics like khadi for a casual day look or silk/ satin for a night out. Add chunky bangles and stappy flats or even stilettos! Grab a sparkly clutch to go with it and you’re all set! (Psst… dont go overboard with the Indian-ess by carrying a jhola along with this outfit- It’s just OTT then)

2) Bralet

Bra what? Well, this one is definitely not for the faint hearted- The bralet trend is assuming mammoth proportions this season but where to wear it? And how to wear it?

Wear it only if you’re somewhat modestly endowed. Wear with a high waist bubble skirt or high waist trousers/ shorts.

3) Neon make up

You can’t have possibly gone the whole season without having used atleast one neon or fuchsia hue!

Neon hues are all the rage this season , even on faces and nails. Grab that bright yellow or electric blue eyeliner… neon green nail paint or fuchsia pink lip color! I promise it’s too much fun!

4) Indian or Egyptian inspired statement pieces
worn over western outfits!
Think Mata Hari or Cleopatra… Indian and Egyptian inspired statement jewelry is making heads turn this season.

Try the Indian Maag tikli or kundan work necklace or don the Egyptian armlets and bangles with your western outfit, for that shock effect!

5) Cut!

Everything from beachwear to evening wear has those daring cut outs this season- Too shy to show off those curves? Then try smaller cut out and play peek a boo in style with a simple cut out top.

Remember to skip the accessories and go simple with make up unless you want to scream for attention in this daredevil style.
