A Spring Summer Carnival by the sea? Yes please! New Look threw a colorful bash at the stunning Al Qasar this week to showcase it’s uber trendy spring summer collection 2012. Amidst clowns, candy cupcakes, there was plenty of fashion to lap up!
The Generation 915 Collection is inspired by Santa Monica’s beach district- has a bit of grunge, psychedelic hues and a laid back vibe about it. The palette has a lot of sugary shades and tossed up with pastels and tie- dye prints.
The womenswear collection has a canvas of wild tribal print, ethnic beading and , Aztec influence- such a fun addition to the spring summer wardrobe, don’t you think? Inspired by the Savannah plains of Africa, highlights of the collection are neutrals with shades of paprika, mustard and burnt metallic. This beautiful earthy palette is juxtaposed with a spattering of color pop denim, graphic florals, and Hawaiian prints for fun!
I’d say New Look’s Spring Summer ’12 endeavor is ‘East Coast meets West Coast’, ‘girl meets woman’ and style meets awesome!
