FY’s  How to guide to wearing scarves this summer!

Retro:

Go the Marilyn Monroe way, tap into Audrey Hepburn’s style or look like Elizabeth Taylor’s sexy avatar with the retro scarf. The small printed scarf goes around the neck  worn with a pair of high wasted pants and a fitted T shirt. Summer casual chic!

Turban:

Experiment with the funky turban this summer! Wrap a long scarf starting from the nape of your neck and knot it on top of your head twice. Finish the turban by bringing the ends back at the nape of your neck. Leave your hair out open for that hippie chic summer look. Alternatively, you could try on some of those uber cool turban hats for a funky twist!

Beach:
Protect your precious tresses from the harsh sun with a scarf folded into a thick hair band or bandana. Secure it with colorful clips and pins for a splash of color at the poolside barbecue or beach party.

Office:

Neat, lightweight scarves look ultra chic worn in the office. Do the bib scarf- Fold the scarf into a triangle and knot it behind your neck; or wrap it once around your neck and knot it in front. Worn with a lovely summer linen jacket, it makes for a sophisticated work look. One could also work a simple pussybow with a colorful scarf to dress up an otherwise dull outfit. You could also try the neck wrap at work.

Evening:

Wrap a light-weight or sheer scarf around your shoulders and pin it up with a classy brooch over one shoulder or even your sleeve. There are no rules, really so play with the texture and volume of your scarf to create your own individual scarf look.
