Summer’s Most Wanted Fragrance: See By Chloe
I’ve had my heart set on this one for a while now, after a single whiff out of a tester in the mall. Now that I have it in my closet here’s why I think it’s an absolute must-have for summer:
Typically, people who like floral notes and those who like fruity notes, stand clearly divided. However, despite being a fruity scent person, I’ve grown to appreciate certain floral scents for their staying power and their uplifting effect on the wearer’s mood. See By Chloe is one such fragrance- a soft, light floral scent that instantly puts one in a girly, fun mood.
The secret lies in its composition, perhaps. One of the main notes of the fragrance include the water hyacinth- a free-floating, fresh water aquatic plant that is native to tropical and sub-tropical South America. I love how these notes blend with apple blossom and the traditional floral fragrance favorite jasmine to leave an ultra feminine, fresh trail that lingers.
If I may personify the fragrance, I’d say she’s a young Parisian, curious and mischievous and very flirtatious. That pretty much sums up the Chloe girl for me.
This one’s not to be missed this summer.
