The Fashion TV store launch was something of a crowd puller at the Dubai mall! I was late but had no trouble spotting the brand new store from the number of camera crews, socialites, fashion journalists and bloggers making all the noise for FTV.
A fashion show kicked off the official launch of the first FTV store in the middle East, making it a first of its kind concept café cum store in the region. Micheal Adam, founder of Fashion TV was at the opening saying, “Consumers in Dubai are very fashion forward and are not scared to try new things. This is exactly the kind of women we want to attract- Someone who lives and breathes fashion!”
The ‘I love Fashion’ clothing line is young, bold and eye catching, not to say it won’t appeal to older, more refined tastes. I saw some very chic pieces and accessories that could excite my closet a bit. The collection ranges from bold prints to glittering, on- trend party ensembles to casual wear and beach wear, along with some fetching bags and baubles.
The first flagship FTV store is the first of five new stores that are all set to be launched soon- Abu Dhabi is next on the fashion radar! The store has all the trappings of FTV- slick, trendy and bold; what with the LED lit in-store runway, mannequins suspended from a conveyer belt to give us a 360 degree view of the outfit and ofcourse, Fashion TV 24/7! What else can a girl ask for!
